Academic use software is for teaching and learning.
Students, Faculty and Staff can:
Access/Download specific titles and launch Virtual Computer Lab apps from the Cal Poly Software Hub,
Purchase discount-priced software for personal use at Kivuto OnTheHub.
There are also a host of additional software services and apps available by visiting the vendor sites listed.
Faculty and Staff: If you have a Cal Poly-owned computer, you can use the preinstalled self-support tools on your computer to install software.

Affiliate (guest account) access to software is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary per licensing agreement.

Office 365 Suite - Personal Use/Work at Home | Affiliate, ASI Staff, Auxiliary Staff, Faculty, Staff, Student | In 2020, Microsoft changed Office 365 licenses for higher education customers, which limits the features available to some Cal Poly community members. All faculty and staff will still have full access to the web-based Office 365 applications, but emeritus and CSU bargaining units 5, 6 and 11 will no longer be eligible to download the desktop Microsoft Office software suite. |
