Software Procurement for Cal Poly Owned Devices

Learn how to purchase software at Cal Poly. Any new software must go through an ICT Review Process and procurement.

1. Check the available Academic Use Software to see if Cal Poly already has software to suit your needs.

2. Get a quote from the vendor and purchase approval from your department.

3. Submit an ICT Review Form.

4. Once the ICT is approved, complete procurement.

5. Submit a General Help request with the licensing terms and the license key to install the software on your device.
