Register for EndNote Online and Install Citation Tools

EndNote is a tool for publishing and managing bibliographies, citations, and references. Learn how to register for an EndNote account and download and install tools like Cite While You Write™, Capture, and EndNote Click.

  1. Go to Cal Poly's Clarivate Analytics Web of Science site.

  2. In the upper right corner of the page, click Products, then click EndNote from the dropdown menu.

Known Issue
The web page is unresponsive, not allowing you to to click on anything.
How to Fix
You are required to choose/confirm what cookies to accept first. There is a banner at the base of the page that displays cookie acceptance options. Once you’ve submitted your choice, you should have access to the page.

  1. Under Not a member yet?, click the Register button.

  2. Fill out the form using your @calpoly.edu email address to create an account. Click the Register button.

  3. You will see a message letting you know a registration confirmation email has been sent. Click the OK button.

  4. Once you receive the email, click the link to activate your account. Click the OK button. 

     

  5. You will be redirected to Sign in to continue with EndNote. Enter your password to log in to myendnoteweb.

  6. From the top menu, click Downloads to see the available EndNote tools.
