Authenticate with Phone Call or Duo Mobile Passcode

This option is suitable for office phones and landlines, or mobile phones run Duo Mobile.

Use Phone Call:

  1. Log in to the My Cal Poly portal or a Cal Poly application that is MFA/Duo-enabled.

  2. When you are prompted to authenticate, select Phone call.

  3. Click the Call Phone button.
    You might have to click on Other options first to see the screen with the Phone Call option.

  4. Answer the phone call from Duo and follow the voice instructions to log in to the application.

Use Duo Mobile Passcode:

  1. Log in to the My Cal Poly portal or a Cal Poly application that is MFA/Duo-enabled.

  2. When you are prompted to authenticate, select Duo Mobile passcode.
    You might have to click on Other options first to see the screen with the Duo mobile passcode option.

  3. Type the Passcode, then click the Verify button.
