Add a New Mobile Phone to My Duo Account

Learn how to add a new mobile phone to your Duo account.

  1. Log in to the My Cal Poly Portal.

  2. Click the Personal Info tab. Under Personal Info, select Authorized Devices. Open the Multi-factor Authentication dropdown. Click Edit.

  3. Select an authentication method and complete the verification on your currently enrolled device.

Once authenticated, you will see a page that lists your devices in square cells.

  1. Click I have a new phone.

  2. Click Get started and follow the prompts on the screen to finish adding your new device.




Contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance if you do not have a backup device. After the Service Desk deletes the device, you can add a new one. Remember, your password will still protect your account.
