Add a New Mobile Phone to My Duo Account
Learn how to add a new mobile phone to your Duo account.
Log in to the My Cal Poly portal.
Click the Personal Info tab > Under Personal Info> Authorized Devices> Multi-factor Authentication > Click Edit.
Click Other Options.
You’ll be prompted to authenticate now, do not respond to it. Wait until step #6 to authenticate instead.
Select Manage devices. This is located at the bottom of the list.
Choose the phone number you wish to reactivate from the drop-down list, then select an authentication method and complete the verification on your currently enrolled device.
Once authenticated, you will see a page that lists your devices in square cells.
Click I have a new phone, then follow the prompts to complete the device enrollment/activation.
If you do not have a backup device, contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance. After the Service Desk deletes the device, you will be able to add a new device. Remember, your password will still protect your account.
