All Cal Poly users have access to Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Students, faculty, and most staff can download and install the desktop version of these applications online through Microsoft 365 at no cost.
Faculty & staff with state-issued/maintained computers can use Software Center (on Windows) or Self Service (on Mac) to install Microsoft 365 software.
Campus computer security policy prohibits use a personal Microsoft account on state-owned/ITS managed devices.
Emeritus and CSU bargaining units 5, 6 and 11 have access to the web-based Microsoft 365 applications only.
