Can't Connect to VPN Client (GlobalProtect) / Stale Error - When Pressing ENTER Key at Login

Problem

"When I press the ENTER key after entering my Cal Poly username and password, I get a “Stale Connection” error and does not complete the connection."

Solution

Click the Login button on the screen instead of pressing the ENTER key after entering your Cal Poly username and password.

In some cases, users may need to Force Quit the GlobalProtect app or even Restart their computer to unfreeze the unresponsive GlobalProtect app and try connecting/refreshing afterwards.
