Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Cal Poly’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) service allows you to securely access campus technology resources from wherever you are.
You must be enrolled in Multi-Factor Authentication (Duo) before setting up VPN.
If you’re using a Cal Poly state-owned computer or a tech rental, the GlobalProtect VPN is typically preinstalled.
Quickstart
On your personal computer:
Go to cpvpn.calpoly.edu to download and install the GlobalProtect client.
Configure the client. Enter cpvpn.calpoly.edu as the portal address
On your state-issued computer:

In order to use VPN, you must first have it installed on your computer. High-speed internet is required at your remote location.
