Learn how to add a new mobile phone to your Duo account.

  1. Log in to the My Cal Poly portal.

  2. Click the Personal Info tab > Under Personal Info> Authorized DevicesMulti-factor Authentication > Click Edit.

  3. Select an authentication method and complete the verification on your currently enrolled device.

  4. Once authenticated, you will see a page that lists your devices in square cells.
    Click I have a new phone, then follow the prompts to complete the device enrollment/activation.

  5. Click Get Started and follow the prompts on the screen to complete adding your new device.

If you do not have a backup device, contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance. After the Service Desk deletes the device, you will be able to add a new device. Remember, your password will still protect your account.
