View, Download, and Share a Zoom Cloud Recording

Learn how to view, download, and share a Zoom cloud video. 

  • Zoom cloud recordings will automatically delete 180 days after they are created.

  • Deleted recordings may be temporarily recovered.

Go to calpoly.zoom.us/recordingLog in with your Cal Poly portal account.

View cloud recordings

  1. Under the Cloud Recordings Tab, select the video recording you wish to view by clicking on its title.

  2. Click the video screen playback arrow icon. This opens a new tab on your browser for the video to play in.

Download cloud recordings

  1. Under the Cloud Recordings Tab, click the ellipsis icon (three dots, located on the far right side of the row)

  2. Click Download. A Download Recording files dialog box appears (Each file will be downloaded separately.)

  3. Click Download again.

  4. Repeat the steps above for each recording you wish to download. Unfortunately, Zoom does not allow users to download all recordings as a batch or full set.

Share could recordings

  1. Under the Cloud Recordings Tab, Click the Share button for the recording you wish to share.

  2. Select the settings you want to apply, when finished, then click Copy Sharing Information. The info/link is copied to the clipboard for you to paste into an email or other document that you prefer.

  3. Click Done.

 

Downloaded videos can be:

  1. Stored in OneDrive or Sharepoint for safe keeping/storage.

  • Currently, recordings can’t be manually deleted by faculty/staff.

  • If possible, download your recordings when you are on campus.
    This will provide the best network for a speedy process and reduce the overall time it takes to complete your downloads.

  • Students do not currently have access to record to the cloud; however, Zoom meetings can be recorded and saved to a computer.
