Zoom Apps and Approval
Typically, Zoom integrations and Marketplace applications are limited to ITS supported apps, including Office 365 Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Approved In-Meeting apps need to be enabled by the user in their Zoom settings at https://calpoly.zoom.us/profile/setting?tab=zoomapps .
To get a new app approved:
Check to see if the app is supported by submitting a General Help request.
If the app is not supported, find a campus administrative sponsor in your area to submit the request on your behalf to ITS for review. Submissions without a compelling justification for why their functionality is needed will be declined. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) approval is also required.
If you need specific Zoom integrations that are not currently available, consider trying one of the following ITS-supported services as a replacement. These apps provide similar functionality and have the benefit of ITS support.
