How To Prevent AI Tools from Joining Your Zoom Meeting:
Turn On the Waiting Room Feature
Sign In to your Zoom Account, go to Settings -> Meeting -> Security
Toggle on the Waiting Room feature
Block Specific Domains
Sign in to your Zoom Account, go to Settings -> Meeting -> Security
Turn on Block users in specific domains from joining meetings and webinars.
Add These Domains to the Block List: Read.ai, Fireflies.ai, Fathom.video
Click Save.
Only Allow Authenticated Users
In your Zoom account, go to Settings -> Meeting -> Security
Toggle On Only authenticated meeting participants and webinar attendees can join the meetings and webinars feature.
How to Remove AI Tools During a Meeting
Decline Recording Access
If prompted by an AI tool, decline recording access.
Move AI Users to the Waiting Room
Click the three dots in the right corner of the AI Tool (e.g., Read.ai , Fireflies.ai , Fathom)
Choose Put in Waiting Room.
Remove AI Participants
Click the three dots in the right corner of the AI Tool (e.g., http://Read.ai , http://Fireflies.ai , Fathom)
Choose Remove
