Starting 8/11/22, the Chancellor's Office (CO) will require a connection to Global Protect VPN to access legacy data collection and reporting applications.

Applications affected:

  • Academic Planning Database (APDB)

  • Enrollment Reporting System (ERS)

  • Cash Management Operations (CMO)

  • Employee Salary Projection System (ESP)

  • Financial Information Record Management System (FIRMS)

  • Grievance and Arbitration (GRARB)

  • Academic Calendar Database (ACAL)

  • Space and Facilities Planning Database (SFDB)

Previously, campus users have connected to these applications from campus network IP ranges without the added safeguard now being required to protect the sensitive data they store. On average (depending on campus and department size) there are 11 users per campus at any given time.
