Do you need to print something on campus? Cal Poly offers several different options to fit your needs.
Personal Printers
While students, faculty, and staff are permitted to use personal printers on campus, campus Wi-Fi and ethernet unfortunately do not support these devices.
The following methods are recommended for connecting to personal printers on campus:
USB cable: use a USB cable compatible with your specific printer for a wired connection.
Bluetooth: if your specific printer is equipped with Bluetooth, connect it to your device for wireless printing that does not require an Internet connection.
Wi-Fi Direct: is a wireless printing option that does not require an Internet connection. It is a 1-to-1 connection and does not support multiple devices connecting to the printer. For more information, visit the vendor website for your specific device.
