Copiers

Support for multi-function printers and copiers is available to Cal Poly staff and faculty.

Personal Printers

While students, faculty, and staff are permitted to use personal printers on campus, campus Wi-Fi and ethernet unfortunately do not support these devices.

The following methods are recommended for connecting to personal printers on campus:

USB cable: use a USB cable compatible with your specific printer for a wired connection.

Bluetooth: if your specific printer is equipped with Bluetooth, connect it to your device for wireless printing that does not require an Internet connection.

Wi-Fi Direct: if your specific printer is an HP printer released after 2014, Wi-Fi Direct is a wireless printing option that does not require an Internet connection. For more information, view the HP Direct website for assistance printing with Wi-Fi Direct on your specific device.
