Common PolyCard/Port Pass Issues

Port Pass will be phased out by the end of Summer 2026 - more information to come.

Problem

"I am unable to use my PolyCard/Port Pass."

Solution

There are several solutions to issues that may arise when using your PolyCard/Port Pass.

Damaged

If your Polycard/Port Pass is worn from normal use (fading, laminate peel, defective magnetic stripe, etc.), it may be replaced at no charge.

Dining Plan Issues

Campus Dining
Visit the Campus Dining website for more information, or contact Campus Dining at campusdining@calpoly.edu or 805-756-5939.

Campus Express
Visit the Campus Express website for deposit information. Campus Express balances are refundable; a $25 processing fee may be applied.

Lost Door Access

See the department or area security administrator to get your Polycard/Port Pass re-enabled for room access.
