Common Management System (PeopleSoft)
The Common Management System (CMS) is a PeopleSoft software application from Oracle that's used across the California State University (CSU) System to perform administrative functions. The CMS has three distinct environments that serve different functions: Common Financial System (CFS), Human Resources (HR) and Student Administration. All three CMS environments are accessed through My Cal Poly Portal. Permissions to access these systems are based on your role at Cal Poly and subject to approval from management. Enterprise data is made available through PolyData Dashboards & Reporting and other system integrations.
