Drill Down into Dashboard Data

Learn how to drill-down to view more granular dashboard data. Not all dashboards have been developed with drill-downs. If a dashboard has drill-down capability, the analysis values (text, number, etc.) will appear in blue.

Dimension Drill-downs

Dimensions are categorizations of qualitative data. 

1. From the dashboard, hover over the blue text. The text will appear underlined, confirming it can be selected. 
   
   

   Open

   

    

2. Click on the link to see a new column with detailed data.

3. Click Return, below the table, to go back to the previous analysis. 

Measure Drill-downs

Measures are values of quantitative data that can be aggregated in some way

1. From the dashboard, hover over the blue text. The number will appear underlined, confirming it can be selected. 

2. Click on the link to see a new analysis that will display details of the selected aggregate measure.
   
   

3. Click Return, below the table, to go back to the previous analysis.
