Problem

"I can't connect to WiFi."

Solution

Find the most relevant solution to your issue.

Did you recently change your password?

If you recently changed your password, go to your device's Wi-Fi settings and update your password.

We recommend using WiFiSetup to configure devices for SecureMustangWireless, then the next time you change your password it will update automatically.

 Has your SecureMustangWireless access expired?

Cal Poly users must renew access to SecureMustangWireless each year. When it expires, you will receive a message on your device in your browser prompting you to re-provision your device and install a new profile.

Did you recently update your device?

You may need to renew the certificates on your device. You can try to remove the certificates yourself or bring your device to the ITS Service Desk and we can assist you.

 Is SecureMustangWireless running slow?

Go to your device's wireless settings and turn off your Wi-Fi. Wait a few moments, then turn your Wi-Fi back on. This should connect you to the nearest access point.

I still can't connect to SecureMustangWireless.

Try connecting to Cal Poly's eduroam network. Contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance connecting back to SecureMustangWireless.
