The departmental Telephone Coordinator serves as a liaison between department faculty and staff and the ITS Voice Services team.

  • Submit department requests using one of the Support Center Campus Desk or Mobile Phone requests.

  • Process departmental requests for telephone moves, adds, and changes. A minimum of five (5) business days are needed to process requests.

  • Process departmental requests for advanced voicemail services.

  • Report telephone problems to the ITS Service Desk.

  • Request and cancel mobile phone service.

  • Provide campus telephone directory changes.

  • Provide billing chartfield information for all requests.

  • Monitor telephone billing and report discrepancies.

  • Provide telephone training for new staff and faculty.

  • Serve as the information point for the department when widespread communications updates and telephone problems occur.
