Antivirus software is provided to all university-owned computers used by faculty and staff. Windows computers use Sophos Central Endpoint Protection and Mac computers use Jamf Protect. For personal use, Cal Poly students, faculty and staff can download Sophos Home antivirus software on their personal devices at no cost.

Quickstart

  1. To install Sophos Home, go to home.sophos.com/employee.aspx.

  2. Enter your Cal Poly email address and click the Submit button.

  3. You will receive an email from Sophos Home with instructions on how to create your account and manage your license.

Availability

Faculty and staff should contact the ITS Service Desk to install and configure Sophos Central Endpoint Protection or Jamf Protect on their campus computer.
