Automatic Call Distribution (ACD)
Allows distribution of a large volume of incoming calls to a specific group of telephones that agents use. The routing and queuing of the incoming calls can be based upon customizable skills or group memberships. Statistics can be obtained for the volumes of calls, length of calls, wait time in the queue, etc. As this service is highly customizable, consulting will be provided to see if ACD services can meet your needs.

Provides an additional extension number assigned to a digital instrument. This number can be used for ACDs, as a Direct Inward Dialing (DID) station, or a Pilot Number.

Authorization Codes (with campus phones only)
Seven-digit code that is billed to an account number. The authorization code can be used to bill individual long-distance calls to a special account number (such as a grant or research project). The codes override an instrument’s dialing restrictions. For example, you may place a long-distance call from a courtesy phone by using your authorization code.

Multiple Directory Number (MDN)
Provides access to other digital sets’ Primary line or ADN lines. When the line is ringing and the key is pressed the call is answered, leaving the number busy to additional calls.When not ringing, can be used to make outgoing calls from the other line or can be used to check for messages waiting (stutter dial tone) on the other line.
