Problem

"I lost my phone. What do I do? How do I authenticate?"

You will need to authenticate with your back up device, then remove the lost mobile device from your Duo account.

  1. Log in to

    the 

    the My Cal Poly Portal.

  2. Go to the Personal Info tab > Personal Info portlet > Authorized Devices > Multi-factor Authentication > Edit.

  3. Authenticate with your back up device (secondary mobile device like a tabletlandline or token). 

  4. Next to the device name, click

     button. Delete the device by clicking the

     button, then the

    red Remove

     button

     button.

 for assistance. After the Service Desk deletes the device, you will be able to add a new device. Remember, your password will still protect your account.
