Problem

"I can't log in to my Cal Poly account."

Solution

If you can't access your Cal Poly account, it is either temporarily locked or you need to reset your password.


 Locked account

 Reset a forgotten password

 Change or reset a known password

 Expired password or unable to reset your password

Reminder to update your password on devices and applications

After your password is reset, don’t forget to update the saved password on all of your devices and applications with your new password to prevent a temporary lock on your Cal Poly account. 

  • Devices include desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Cal Poly email applications and programs
  • Wifi profile settings
  • Web browser where your old password may be saved
