Cal Poly’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) service allows you to securely access campus technology resources from wherever you are. 

You must be enrolled in /wiki/spaces/CPKB/pages/1851850753 before setting up VPN.

If you’re using a Cal Poly state-owned computer or a tech rental, the GlobalProtect VPN is typically preinstalled.

Quickstart

To Install on your personal computer:

  1. Go to cpvpn.calpoly.edu and download the GlobalProtect client.

  2. Configure the client. Use cpvpn.calpoly.edu.

To Install on your state-issued computer:

  • If GlobalProtect VPN is not pre-installed please see the support page for installing software on Windows or Mac.

In order to use VPN, you must first have it installed on your computer. High-speed internet is required at your remote location.
