Notable changes between OBIEE and OAC
There are some general format/thematic changes for the new BI tool that are not mentioned below (non-functional differences).
1. The location of the “Sign Out” button
OBIEE – The “Sign Out” button is visible on all pages.
OAC – The “Sign Out” button is nested in the “My Profile” drop-down in the top-right.
2. Content search options
OBIEE – The top tool bar displays a search option for content.
OAC – The top tool bar search option has been removed and the content search option is in the “Catalog” view (available by selecting “Catalog” and then the small magnifying glass icon on the top-left).
3. Dashboard page icon format
OBIEE – The current dashboard page is highlighted with a white box, bolded title, and blue bar above it.
OAC – The current dashboard page title is bolded and a green bar is below it.
