Starting 8/11/22, the Chancellor's Office (CO) will need to use require a specific VPN portal address (coappsvpn.calstate.edu) to access data collection and reporting applications. Staff using the affected applications may follow the steps below to install/configure and reconnect their VPN client.

MacOS Configuration

In the General tab, click the + button to add a new VPN portal address. Click on the Global Protect icon in your system tray. Using the menu (three stacked lines), open Settings. In the General tab, click Add . Once the configuration is complete, you are ready to re-connect to VPN:

In order to connect to the Chancellor's Office Global Protect portal, it may be necessary to first disconnect from the Cal Poly Global Protect VPN portal (if connected).

1. Disconnect from the Cal Poly Global Protect VPN portal (if connected)

2. Using the Portal selection list, choose the option for coappsvpn.calstate.edu

3. Click Connect on the Global Protect client.
