Starting 8/11/22, the Chancellor's Office (CO) will require a specifically designated specific VPN portal address (coappsvpn.calstate.edu) to access legacy data collection and reporting applications. Staff using the affected applications may follow the steps below to install/configure and reconnect their VPN client.

MacOS Configuration

Click on the Global Protect icon in your notification bar Image RemovedImage Added Using the menu (three stacked lines), choose Settings. In the General tab, click the + button to add a new VPN portal address. Once the configuration is complete, you are ready to re-connect to VPN:

In order to connect to the Chancellor's Office Global Protect portal, it may be necessary to first disconnect from the Cal Poly Global Protect VPN portal (if connected).

1. Disconnect from the Cal Poly Global Protect VPN portal (if connected)

2. Using the Portal selection list, choose the option for coappsvpn.calstate.edu

3. Click Connect on the Global Protect client.
