Starting 8/11/22, the Chancellor's Office (CO) will require a specifically designated need to use its own specific VPN portal address to access legacy data collection and reporting applications. Staff using the affected applications can follow the steps below to install/configure and reconnect their VPN client.

VPN Configuration steps:
Install the Global Protect VPN client.
Configure/Add the Chancellor's Office VPN portal address (coappsvpn.calstate.edu) in the installed client settings. Follow the detailed instruction below to configure your specific device.

Click on the Global Protect icon in your notification bar Using the menu (three stacked lines), choose Settings. In the General tab, click the + button to add a new VPN portal address. Enter coappsvpn.calstate.edu in the Portal Address: field, and click Save. The new VPN portal address should now be reflected in the list. The Global Protect client should now have a drop down menu that will allow selection of the new portal for you to use. Once the configuration is complete, you are ready to re-connect to VPN:
In order to connect to the Chancellor's Office Global Protect portal, it may be necessary to first disconnect from the Cal Poly Global Protect VPN portal (if connected).
Disconnect from the Cal Poly Global Protect VPN portal (if connected)
Using the Portal selection list, choose the option for coappsvpn.calstate.edu
Click Connect on the Global Protect client.
