Filter a PolyData Dashboards dataset using a dashboard prompt. Nearly all dashboards contain prompts that can be used to further filter dashboard data. Dashboard prompts are designed according to the customer requirements and specifications given during the development of the dashboard, therefore, the prompt options and defaults may differ between dashboards.
- From the top of the page, open a dashboard.
- Click the BI Publisher Preferences tab > Report Time Zone > (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada); Tijuana.
Click the OK button. You may need to logout and log back in to PolyData Dashboards to finalize the change.Generally, prompts are located in the top section of the dashboard page. Each prompt corresponds to a data attribute that can be used to filter your results (ex. Cohort, College, Department, etc.). Click on the drop-down icon (upside down triangle) to see all available attribute values. Click the value(s) in the drop-down menu that you wish to select. Note: This dashboard prompt has default values set, which will automatically be applied when the dashboard is opened.
