Problem

"I can't access a shared folder in OneDrive from a web browser (Office ."

Solution

Try one of the following options.

Visit Microsoft's

Files and folders containing invalid characters (" * : < > ? / \ | and spaces) will not sync. Rename the file or folder for it to sync.

Multiple users have report problems accessing shared folders in OneDrive using a web browser. We are still seeking to understand the issue, but have found several workarounds to use in the meantime.
1) Open OneDrive, click on the "Shared" folder, select the folder you wish to open by clicking the radio button next to the folder, then click the folder to open.
2) Open OneDrive, click on the "Shared" folder, open the desired folder, and select "Our files" below the "My files" folder.
3) Open OneDrive and select "Return to classic OneDrive" in the bottom left corner (This doesn't appear to work in Safari on Mac. Use Chrome or try one of the other workarounds).
