AWS Kiro Pro @ Cal Poly

Cal Poly has been selected by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as one of a small group of universities worldwide to receive free access to Kiro Pro, an AI-powered software development tool.

Students and Faculty will receive 1,000 Kiro credits per month for one year at no cost, a $240 value.

What is Kiro?

Kiro is an AI-assisted development environment that helps you design, build, and test software more efficiently. It combines a coding workspace with built-in AI agents that can generate code, help structure projects, and support you as you develop applications. Whether you are new to coding or working on advanced projects, Kiro can support everything from quick experiments to more formal software development workflows.
