ChatGPT Edu
Access to ChatGPT Edu will be available starting April 28!
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by OpenAI that processes natural language and generates responses to enhance productivity and support teaching and learning activities. OpenAI's ChatGPT Edu is a specialized version designed for educational institutions, making it particularly useful in academic environments.
The CSU’s agreement with OpenAI includes language that ensures your ChatGPT interactions and data are not used to train their underlying large language models or improve their services.
CSU users' interactions with ChatGPT Edu are treated with the same level of care and confidentiality as other commonly used electronic platforms, such as email, and Microsoft Office 365. Use of ChatGPT Edu must be in alignment with Cal Poly’s Academic Integrity Policies as well as CSU’s guidelines for Ethical and Responsible use of AI for Students.
