Desk Phone, Softphone, & Voicemail

Campus phone and voicemail service is managed by ITS and facilitated by the university's Telephone Coordinators. To set up a new desk phone and voicemail service, move desk phone locations, or make changes to service, contact your department's Telephone Coordinator.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Cost

Lines for full-time state employees (faculty or staff) are made possible through Cal Poly funds, with no additional charges. One line for each state department is also covered by Cal Poly funds. Otherwise, each wired phone line costs $20 per month.

Telephone Coordinators

Each department has a designated Telephone Coordinator who acts as a liaison to ITS for their area's telephone and voicemail needs. The Telephone Coordinator is responsible for processing requests for moves and other changes that may impact telephone numbers and directory information, reporting issues, and handling billing.
