Find a Device's MAC Address

A MAC address is a hardware identification number that uniquely identifies each device on a network. MAC addresses are formatted with colons (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX). Knowing a device's MAC address helps to connect to the CP-IoT WiFi network and troubleshoot wireless issues. Typically, the Mac address can be found in a device's network settings or in the documentation that came with the device.
