Can't Connect to Zoom Error Message

Problem(s)

"I get an error message from Zoom that says 'This site can’t be reached' or a message that mentions a DNS or connection error."

"I received a 'You are unable to connect to Zoom. Please check your network connection and try again.' message."

Solution(s)

If you enter your full email as prompted, Zoom may direct you to "calpoly.edu.zoom.us" instead of "http://calpoly.zoom.us ".

To fix this issue, click I know the company domain and enter "calpoly".

Search company domain. 'I know the company domain' is highlighted

This occurs most prominently with Macs connected to GlobalProtect VPN and Zoom. You can reconnect to Zoom by disconnecting and reconnecting to VPN.
