Mail identified as possible junk email can automatically be moved to the Junk email folder.  Any malware—potentially malicious software or code—is disabled.

 Block senders using toolbar options
  1. Log in to the My Cal Poly Portal > My Apps > Email & Calendar.
  2. A sender's email address can be blocked using the toolbar within a message. In Outlook, select the message.
  3. Under Junk click the drop-down to select one of the options.


 Unblock senders using toolbar options
  1. Log in to the My Cal Poly Portal > My Apps > Email & Calendar.
  2. If you receive an email that is automatically moved to the Junk email folder and you would like it moved to the Inbox.
  3. In Outlook, select the message.
  4. Under Not junk click the drop-down to select Not junk.

To get started, log in to the My Cal Poly Portal > My Apps > Email & Calendar.

Mail is automatically removed from the Junk email folder after 14 days and is not recoverable.
