A variety of technology equipment is available to check-out for academic use. Students, staff and faculty can rent laptops, cameras, and more. Reserve items online. 

Faculty, staff, and students are all eligible to check out equipment

Students can check out laptops, for academic use at no cost. To reserve items, visit calpoly.getconnect2.com.

  • Check calpoly.getconnect2.com for hours and availability.

  • Students are all eligible to check a laptop for up to one (1) quarter at a time.

  • Pick-up/drop-off is located in Building 46 (the Natatorium) on Tuesdays & Fridays: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in person. Mail service available if you are currently outside San Luis Obispo county.

    • Inventory is very limited due to current demand, and laptops are only being distributed to students at this time.

    Faculty and staff who are interested in checking out a laptop should contact their local tech support.

    • Reservations are required and available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be made two weeks in advance of the pick-up/delivery date. 

    To reserve items, visit techrentals.calpoly.edu.When making a new reservation, select an end date to return checked out items.
