A variety of technology equipment is available to check-out for academic use. Students, staff and faculty can rent laptops, cameras, and more for up to five days. Reserve items online and pick them up at the Tech Checkout counter in Kennedy Library. Learn More. 

COVID-19 Tech Rentals

The Tech Rentals service has been modified for spring quarter, in response to COVID-19. Cameras, tripods and laptops are available to students, faculty and staff, with reservations extending into summer quarter. Pick-up and drop-off is located in Building 46 (the Natatorium) on Tuesdays & Fridays: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Reservations are required. Quickstart

1. Go to techrentals.calpoly.edu to check out your equipment and schedule a time for pick up.
   Faculty, staff, and students are all eligible to check out equipment for up to 5 days at a time.
   
2. Pick up the reserved equipment at the Media Resource Center located in the Robert E. Kennedy Library in the Hub24 Computer Lab (Suite 114E). 
3. Return the equipment on your specified return date and time.
