The Cal Poly student, faculty and staff have community has access to Zoom, an online conferencing tool called Zoom. Zoom offers audio and video conferencing , screen sharing, and a chat feature that works with up to 300 participantsservice. Students, faculty and staff are provided with a licensed education account, which allows them to host meetings with up to 300 participants, enables recording, and automatically generates a Personal Meeting ID. Emeritus, temporary staff, university guests and student applicants are provided with a Basic Zoom account, which also allows them to host meetings of up to 100 participants, however, the meeting time is limited to 40 minutes if there are three or more participants. If a meeting is hosted by a licensed account, attendees with Basic accounts have no such limitations. Go to calpoly.zoom.us to join a meeting, host an instant meeting, or schedule a meeting.
