Using the portal

Log in to the portal
The My Cal Poly Portal will prompt you to re-enter your Cal Poly username and password after 30 minutes.
- Go to the My Cal Poly Portal.
- Enter your Cal Poly username (do not include @calpoly.edu) and password.
- Click the Login button.

Explore the tabs across the top of the page and the portlets located within each tab. Some tabs like Home, Personal Info, etc. can't be moved or removed. The Home tab contains portlets that you'll use regularly. Customize and organize the layout to your liking.

From the top menu, click the green + button at the top right of the page.
To rename

Click on the tab and , then click once to activate edit mode. Clicking off the tab will save the changes. To delete
Move a tab

Click on the tab, then hover over the top left of the tab to reveal the move 
icon. Some tabs like Home, Personal Info, etc. can't be moved.
Delete a tab
Click on the tab, then click within the top right of the tab. You will see a "Are you sure you want to remove this tab?" message, click the OK button. Some tabs like Home, Personal Info, etc. can't be removed.
Add a portlet
- Click the Customize button, under the Home button.
- From the Search for stuff box, search for portlets to add to your tab. Or browse portlets by clicking the buttons on the right.
- Hover over the portlet button and click the portlet's blue Add button. This places the portlet onto the selected tab.
